Tenormore causes shock at Bangor Tenormore sprang a huge surprise in Bangor tonight winning the Colin Spicer Retirement Novices Hurdle at odds of 100/1. The seven-year-old mare, trained by Paul Flynn in Co Longford and ridden by Brian Crowley took up the lead just before the last and stayed on well to score by three and three parts of a length. The Cyril Glynn (from Mullingar in Co Westmeath) owned bay was having her first run since March 2008 when she pulled up.
