Testing, but drying, ground for first day of the Flat The ground at Naas is gradually drying, and is described on Monday morning as soft to heavy, heavy in places, ahead of this afternoon's opening meeting of the 2020 Irish Flat season. Clonmel are due to race over jumps on Tuesday, and the ground there is currently soft to heavy, as it is at Navan ahead of Friday's Flat meeting there. The weather forecast is for mainly dry conditions for the next few days.
