Testing conditions for the weekend's jumping action

Ahead of Saturday's meeting, the ground at Gowran Park remains heavy.

The forecast is unsettled with the possibility of 7mm (approx) of rain prior to racing, then mainly dry on Saturday.

They will be racing 7 yards from innermost racing line (Hurdle) & 6 yards from innermost racing line (Chase).

Punchestown races on Sunday and, following 8mm of rain in the last 48 hours, the ground is now is soft to heavy (Hurdle) & heavy, soft to heavy in places (Chase).

There is the possibility of 10-20mm (approx) of rain today, clearing overnight, then mainly dry and cold conditions on Saturday with rain on Sunday.
