Testing ground for Bank Holiday weekend fixtures The ground at Galway is soft for the national hunt track and heavy for the Flat course ahead of their three-day bank holiday weekend meeting. The forecast is unsettled with dry and wet periods predicted over the coming days. There is the possibility of 10-12mm of rain prior to racing on Saturday. Wexford race on Sunday and Monday and the going is currenrly heavy. It's also an unsettled forecast in the south-east with up to 20mm of rain possible prior to racing.
