In-running carnage for punters in Division 2 of the Massey Ferguson Johnston Farm Equipment Longford Handicap Hurdle at Kilbeggan when Demanding Gerry was run down by Thats All who got off the mark at the 27th time of asking.

Demanding Gerry travelled well to hit the front off the home bend and went on by a couple of lengths in jumping it.

Although it wasn't her best jump by any means, she looked home for all money on the short run-in.

Thats All looked to have plenty on her plate as she was several lengths in arrears in second with 150 yards to race, however, she surged home and Demanding Gerry was all out to hold on but failed to do so.

That's All (11/1) raced by close home to strike by a length and a-half for Cian Quirke. Runner-up Demanding Gerry was the 3/1 favourite and was five lengths clear of gambled-on Influential Lady (8/1).

Tim Doyle said: “That’s 27 runs before she won so that’s all I can tell you! She’s coming on, though, and her jumping is getting better.

“She’s always honest and we got her wind done so that’s probably helping a little bit.

“He (Quirke) timed it well and gave her a great ride.”
