The Chazer finds support The ex-Irish trained The Chazer has been the subject of support this morning for the southwest-racing.co.uk Handicap Hurdle at 3.15 at Taunton. This son of Witness Box won a bumper at Killarney when under the care of John Paul Brennan. He was described in the aftermath by jubilant connections as "a serious horse," and he was sold to his current trainer Richard Lee for £30,000 at Doncaster in 2009. The Chazer is a half-brother to the disappointing Lismakeery and he will have Giles Hawkins in the plate today. The ex-John 'Shark' Hanlon Mariinsky (a £26,000 buy at Doncaster last May by Tim Vaughan) is also in this well-contested event where the Million In Mind Partnership's American Ladie representing Alan King and Robert Thornton is favourite.
