David Pipe's charge finished second at the Cheltenham Festival last March and was well fancied for Aintree but after creeping into contention, he unseated Graham Lee at the 19th fence. The Package finished fifth in the Badger Ales Trophy at Wincanton on his only start this term. "Unfortunately one horse that will not be going to Aintree is The Package - sadly he has met with a setback and will not be out again this season," the Pond House handler said on his website, www.davidpipe.com. "Fortunately he is a relatively lightly-raced eight-year-old so there is still plenty of time for him, and I look forward to getting him back on track next term."
