Three meetings in Britain today

There are three racemeetings in Britain today, with racing going ahead at Wetherby today after a precautionary inspection was cancelled, while there is Flat action at Kempton and Wolverhampton.

Tony McCoy is the star attraction at Wetherby with rides on Alfie Sherrin and A Bridge Too Far while of some Irish interest in the 4.15 race are jockeys Aodhagan Conlon and Peter Carberry who have recently been making names for themselves in Britain. Both have recently left Ireland to pursue their riding careers.

There is Irish interest at Wolverhampton with trainers Tom McCourt (who sends over Capacity and Accompanist) and Gerry Keane (No Trimmings and Lynott) both represented in the 3.30 and 5.05 races.
