Betting Expert’s racing editor, Stephen Harris, serves up a 10-1 NAP at Sandown on Saturday while editor Vincent Finegan studies the card at Gowran Park and reveals his two best bets of the meeting.

Vincent Finegan’s Ireland Tips

Iamagetaway, 3.50 Gowran Park, 2m. 4f. Handicap Hurdle

Iamagetaway could prove to be a bit better than his initial handicap mark suggests. He showed promise in Bumpers and was a very easy winner of a Maiden Hurdle on his second start over flights at Limerick in October. He probably lacked peak fitness when weakening in the closing stages of a handicap hurdle over this course and distance last month and should be seen in a much better light with that run under his belt.

Grange Walk, 4.25 Gowran Park, 2m. Handicap Chase

Grange Walk hasn’t won a race since landing this contest two years ago, but is consequently racing here off an 11lbs lower rating and should run a big race. He ran very well when third in a much better contest at the Dublin Racing Festival last month and as that was his first start for three months he is likely to improve for the outing.

Stephen Harris’ UK Tip

Laurens Bay (NAP), 1.50 Sandown, 2m4f Novice Handicap Hurdle

Jamie Snowden’s novice raced wide and shaped a lot better than the bare result when fourth at Ascot last time out, and now starts off into handicaps from a potentially lenient mark for his excellent yard. There is loads of improvement in the tank after just four runs over hurdles, and this slight drop back in trip to a stiff 2m4f should be ideal under Gavin Sheehan.
