Arctic Tack Stud County Wexford-based stallion Jet Away has made a lightning fast start with his runners in point-to-points and the Cape Cross horse is represented in the bumper at Thurles tomorrow by Land Jet.

On the racecourse proper Royal Rhythm was a good beginning over jumps for Jet Away. That Philip Rothwell-trained youngster finished second on debut in a Gowran Park maiden hurdle on March 7th.

The likes of Brandy Love, Bring The Action and Supreme Jet have lit up the point-to-point fields with their performances. These are the first four-year-olds for the thirteen-year-old sire, retired to stud in 2015.

Standing at Arctic Tack in partnership with owner Douglas Taylor, Jet Away’s Thurles runner, Land Jet, will appropriately carry the colours of the well-known CEO at Esidock and MCR Group.

Taylor also had the Willie Mullins-trained Cool Jet engaged here, but he relies on the Joseph O’Brien-handled and Tom Hamilton-partnered Land Jet.

Slightly short of the two mile trip, this www.thurlesraces.ie (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race promises to be an informative heat.

Along with Land Jet there are several interesting first-timers in the mix, whilst the likes of Gowran runner-up Light Brigade and Vartry Avenue bring decent form to the table.
