Following 19mm of rain since Friday the going at Thurles remains soft to heavy. The first of seven races is set to get underway this afternoon at 2.00.

The weather forecast for the County Tipperary venue is predicting mainly dry conditions today.

The Horse & Jockey Rated Novice Hurdle headlines the programme and that extended two and a half miler is due off at 3.35.
