The Irish Oaks is the feature on a nine-race 'World Pool' card at the Curragh this afternoon.

The action gets under way 1.10pm and the fourth Classic of the season is off at 4.35pm.

Oaks winner Thundering On didn't fancy her breakfast this morning and has been scratched, leaving Ribblesdale winner Earth Shot, ridden by James Doyle for William Haggas, as the new market leader at a best price of 11/4, with 10 fillies now set to face the starter.

There has been no change to the ground, which is good to firm, good in places and they are racing on the middle track.

It's set to be a dry and sunny day with temperatures up to 23 degrees.
