John Oxx and Johnny Murtagh got the better of a couple of real tussles with Aidan and Joseph O'Brien at Tipperary, culminating with Ebalviyra s debut win in the Events At Tipperary Racecourse Maiden.
Settled off the pace in the early stages, Murtagh brought the 7-1 chance through to challenge the younger O'Brien on 5-4 favourite Chicago a furlong out.
Neither horse would give an inch, but eventually Ebalviyra prevailed close home, running on strongly to score by a length and a quarter.

Chris Hayes was happy to tow the field along on the nearside rail, and when he asked the 4-5 favourite for his effort a furlong out, he soon put the race to bed, beating September Lily by a length and a half.
