Tipperary Fitz the bill Rebel Fitz will attempt to take his next step up the ladder in the Grade Two Tipperary Hurdle on Sunday week. The Galway Hurdle winner has won nine of his 14 races and is still apparently on the upgrade judged on his latest victory at Cork in August. His trainer Michael Winters is keen to see how high he can reach in the hurdling ranks before he considers a switch to chasing for the seven-year-old. "He should run at Tipperary on Sunday week," said Winters. "A lot of the better horses will be coming out now so he might find it a bit tougher. "Everything that has finished behind him recently has decent form, but he has a good turn of foot and that's been winning him his races. "He goes in soft ground but I don't think he wants real deep winter ground so you might find he has a holiday when it gets like that. "We'll see how he copes against the better horses before we decide when he goes chasing."
