Tipperary remains heavy The ground remains heavy at Tipperary ahead of their opening fixture of the season next Thursday. The racecourse reported a cold blustery, dry morning at the track this morning. Seven races are scheduled for Thursday's card with action due to get underway at 4.30pm. The racecourse has underwent a €400,000 upgrade which includes a new entrance building, the relocation of the pre-saddling arena to in front of the Tipperary stand, improvements to the enclosure layout and the completion of the stable yard upgrade.
