John Oxx admits it is not ideal sending My Titania to the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot without the aid of a previous run this season.

The Currabeg handler initially targeted the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket but the Sea The Stars filly met with a late setback which ruled her out of that race.

Oxx then rerouted her to the Irish equivalent but a downpour at the Curragh prevented her from running then, too.

"She's flying, she's in great form and bursting to run so it's been unfortunate but what can you do? You just have to forget it, draw a line under it and move on," Oxx told At The Races.

"We'll run her in the Coronation Stakes. It's a big step running her against battle-hardened Group One fillies but we have to find out where she lies.

"She's a Group Three winner so she has to take the next step, we'll give her a chance and see how she measures up."
