Tomahawk well supported for 2,000 Guineas Tomahawk was yesterday the subject of good support for the Sagitta 2,000 Guineas, fuelling speculation that the champion Irish juvenile will run at Newmarket on Saturday. The French equivalent was originally nominated by Aidan O'Brien as the likely target for Tomahawk, but William Hill and Coral both cut the colt to 10/1 from 16's. O'Brien will delay any decision until after the horses work on Wednesday morning and, with M ichael Kinane likely to partner ante-post favourite Hold That Tiger, John Murtagh is on stand-by for the mount on Tomahawk. Murtagh successfully teamed up with the Ballydoyle yard to land last year's Guineas on Rock Of Gibraltar.
