Toner fired up for Juvenile Hurdle

Toner D'Oudairies is set for a step up to Grade Two company next week should Leopardstown's Christmas meeting eventually take place.

The imposing three-year-old landed the Grade Three Bar One Racing Juvenile Hurdle in good style and holds an entry in the Bord Na Mona Fire Magic Juvenile Hurdle next Thursday.

"He'll go to Leopardstown on the last day of the Christmas meeting if it's on," said trainer Gordon Elliott.

Elliott reported Carlito Brigante to be over the setback he had after finishing down the field behind Karabak in the Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham earlier this month.

"He won't run until February. Two and a half miles will be his trip and he did run well for some way at Cheltenham," he added. "He had a bit of a problem but everything's fine again now."
