Toormore has French option Toormore could possibly take up an engagement in the Prix Jean Prat rather than run in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. Speaking at Sandown on Friday, trainer Richard Hannon hinted the Group One at Chantilly on July 14th is an option. Ryan Moore has been booked for last year's champion two-year-old at Ascot after the colt's seventh-placing in the Qipco 2000 Guineas won by stablemate Night Of Thunder, who is set for the showpiece race on Tuesday. Hannon said: " Toormore will either go for the St James's Palace or the Jean Prat. I'm not sure yet. "There are a lot of different owners and Shifting Power (fourth in the Newmarket Guineas and second in the Irish equivalent) is in the Jean Prat, as well as a race in New York. We'll see how we go over the weekend."
