Champion Hurdle hero Jezki and the horse he deposed at Cheltenham, Hurricane Fly, are among the entries for the Racing Post Champion Hurdle at Punchestown on May 2.

Hurricane Fly was sent off the 11-4 favourite for the Prestbury Park showpiece, but could finish only fourth as the Jessica Harrington-trained Jezki powered up the hill to claim victory in the hands of Barry Geraghty.

Hurricane Fly has, remarkably, won the Racing Post Champion Hurdle for the last four years and has won eight times from nine starts at Punchestown, but he will have his work cut out on this occasion.

His trainer Willie Mullins also has Annie Power, Diakali, Un De Sceaux and Quevega engaged in the two-mile Grade One.

Jezki's owner JP McManus also has Champion Hurdle runner-up My Tent Or Yours entered for the Nicky Henderson team, but he appears unlikely to run given he lines up in this weekend's Scottish Champion Hurdle at Ayr.

David Pipe's The Liquidator and Gordon Elliott's Triumph Hurdle winner Tiger Roll also feature among 15 possible runners.
