< My Direction recorded his second win of the week with a gusty success in the Assembly Techniques Handicap at Tramore.

The Ellmarie Holden-trained gelding struck at Gowran on Wednesday and was sent off 11-10 favourite to defy his 5lb penalty for that victory.

Having made smooth headway to take it up inside the last two furlongs, he didn't surrender the lead thereafter but was all out to hold the late lunge of Landsman by a short head.

There was a treble for Shane Foley on the card, starting with Remarkable Lady (15-8) who collared Sing For Me in the dying strides to land the opening Ashtown House Stud E.B.F. Fillies Maiden.

David Wachman's charge produced a bold bid to make all but the Harry Rogers-trained winner began to ask serious questions a furlong out and asserted late on to deny the 7-4 favourite by three-quarters of a length under Shane Foley.

Foley completed a quick-fire double when Gabardine ran out a comfortable winner of the Perennial Freight Rated Race.

The front-runner had to see off the attentions of Ineffable turning for home but stretched clear nicely once doing so to justify 5-2 favouritism by four and a half lengths from Scealtana

Paddy Celeb (12-1) brought the treble up for Foley with a thrilling victory in the Assembly Techniques Handicap.

Mick Halford's representative fought it out all the way up the home straight with Magnetic Force and Water Sprite before getting up in the shadow the post to deny the latter by a neck.

Prince Charmin' prevailed in a real battle with Propriano in the Dan Cowman Memorial Maiden.

The John Oxx-trained winner cut out the early running before being headed by Dermot Weld's charge as they swung for home, but the 15-8 favourite knuckled to regain the initiative and won going away in the end by a length and three-quarters.< Rockview Emperor (8-1) took the O'Shea's Hotel Handicap with a race-winning move a couple of furlongs out as he opened up a big enough advantage to repel the fast-finishing Invernata y half a length.
