Treacy set for spell on the side-lines Young Northern Irish conditional jockey Ryan Treacy is still being monitored in hospital after taking a heavy fall at Ballinrobe on Tuesday. After coming down from Inchivara at the first flight of the maiden hurdle, Treacy was taken to be treated at the Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar. His mother, Oonagh, said: "He took a bad bang on the head and didn't come around until 9.30 this morning. "He stayed awake for 15 minutes and the brain scans are clear, but the doctors were a bit apprehensive about the amount of progress he has made, so he'll have further scans. "He has also broken a bone between his collarbone and chest, which is pressing against his lung so he's pretty sore now. "The doctors have said the main thing is he's out of danger and he should hopefully improve with some rest."
