Treat for early arrivals to Fairyhouse tomorrow

Ladbrokes, the new spnsors of the Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse on Easter Monday, have come up with a novel idea for racegoers arriving early to the Co. Meath venue.

The Ladbrokes Experts Lounge will give racegoers a unique insight into the art of racereading with Conor O'Dwyer and Tom Segal on hand to explain the finer points of race riding and picking future winners.

Using the very best video footage, dual Gold Cup winning jockey Conor O’Dwyer, will break down a race into its vital components, from the start, the early position of the horse, to making a move and hitting the front. He will explain why different jockeys ride races in different ways and how the leading jockeys’ differ in their tactics.

Segal, a renowned UK tipster, will then take the reins and explain to the audience, how he identifies value in the market, how he decides if a runner is under or overpriced, and the components he considers before making a selection.

The Ladbrokes Experts Lounge will take place at 12 o’clock at Fairyhouse tomorrow.
