Tregoning Excited By Predominate Hopes

Marcus Tregoning has high hopes of winning a third Letheby & Christopher Predominate Stakes at Goodwood on Saturday week.

The Lambourn trainer claimed the prize in 2003 with the admirable High Accolade, while Manyana followed up a year later.

Tregoning could let Mulaqat, a progressive performer last year when rattling off a hat-trick of wins ? but only sixth in the Craven Stakes at Newmarket ? take his chance.

And Jadalee, last seen in September when landing a 10-furlong maiden at Bath, is also a possible.

'I may run Jadalee ? he's by Desert Prince out of a half-sister to Sir Percy and is a horse I like a lot,' he said.

'He's a possible providing I can find a top-class jockey to ride him.

'Mulaqat could also go to Goodwood ? the race wasn't run to suit him last time at Newmarket, but he's a very good horse and is in great order at present.'
