Triumph favourite for Huntingdon Wednesday Alan King is not concerned about tackling older horses in Wednesday's Huntingdon Racecourse For Outdoor Events Novices' Hurdle with Triumph Hurdle favourite Mille Chief. The four-year-old appears in the second division of a race in which King took both divisions of in 2005 with two juveniles - Penzance, who went on to win the Triumph Hurdle, and Voy Por Ustedes, a future Arkle and Queen Mother winner. Having being brought down on his debut when looking like a winner, Mille Chief battled hard to beat Charles Egerton's Westlin' Winds at Kempton over Christmas. "I'm very keen to get him out, he seems in good order so it's fingers crossed," said King. "I've never really minded taking on older horses with our juveniles, we've done it before and a few years ago we won both divisions of this race with Penzance and Voy Por Ustedes who were both four. "I was just a bit worried in case this cold snap did kick in at the end of the week and we lost Doncaster or something so we'll get him out before then. "I think Westlin' Winds is a very good horse, his form from the Plumpton race stacks up incredibly well. It was a good performance from him that day because we were getting 10lb off him. "I'd like to think we've come forward for the run so let's hope it goes well on Wednesday."
