Following 4mm of rain and strong winds since declarations, the going at Down Royal is yielding, good to yielding in places (Hurdle) and good to yielding (Chase).

Forecast is for passing showers and strong winds today.

The first of an eight race card gets underway at 1.18.

The feature on the afternoon, the Bluegrass High Performance Rated Novice Chase, is due off at 4.13. The Gordon Elliott trained course and distance winner Slanagaibhgoleir currently heads the betting here.

Northern racegoers will also get the opportunity to see last years Grand National winner make his reappearance in the preceding Bluegrass Racehorse Cube Chase (3.38).

Meanwhile, following 5mm of rain since declarations, Wexford is soft, soft to heavy in places. Overcast and windy at present, with forecast for mainly dry day.

Racing gets underway at 1.37. The Michael O'Murchadha Handicap Hurdle, due off at 3.22. is the feature on the seven race card. Give Him A Chance is the current market leader here for trainer Philip Rothwell.
