Twiston-Davies could have 7 in National

Nigel Twiston-Davies could have seven runners in the John Smith's Grand National at Aintree.

The trainer has won the race twice before and is looking to cap off a magnificent season following Imperial Commander's victory in the totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup.

"We have seven left in, I think we could run the lot if they are OK," he said.

"Beat The Boys disappointed at Cheltenham so we hope he is all right.

"There's Irish Raptor and I am very excited about his chances, I think he has got round (the National fences) five or six times and if he runs like he did in the Topham he would have a very good chance.

"Hello Bud led a long way the other day but he tired in the closing stages, I thought he ran a hell of a race.

"Ollie Magern is down to a weight he could win off. He is such a good jumper that the last thing we expected him to do was fall in the race last year.

"I hope Razor Royale gets in, he did not have things all his own way the other day and the ground was faster than he likes. The extra mile and a half is going to suit him.

"Winning the National with Bindaree changed my career forever."
