Tyner funeral takes place in Innishannon Jack Tyner was today laid to rest in Innishannon New Cemetery following a funeral mass in St Mary's Church in the Cork town. The 19-year-old passed away on Monday morning in Cork University Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a fall at Dungarvan point-to-point on February 1st. The sole son of trainer Robert Tyner and his wife Mary, he also leaves behind sisters Kate, Joan, Clare, Lara and Geraldine. Jockeys at Thurles today again wore black armbands in a mark of respect for the promising amateur.
