Tyson Fury powered clear in the closing stages to run out an impressive winner in the claimer at Dundalk.

Joey Sheridan asked his mount to challenge passing the two pole and he really started to motor going to the furlong marker.

The 8/11 favourite asserted in the closing stages to post an eight length win over stablemate Persian Bliss

Today was a big drop in grade for the 96-rated performer who was recording his first win since scoring here in February 2024.

Hogan, who had three in the race and ten runners on the card, said: "I haven't been here in a while, but I had to drive the box as we had so many runners!

"On ratings you would expect him to do that, but he has bits of issues. That's why we pitched him in there. If he wins, brilliant and if we lose him, we lose him.

"We are aware that there are some issues and we don't know when they are going to come again. He's a gent of a horse. If we keep him great - if not, we will say best of luck to the next people."

The winner was claimed by Premier Racing Club/Mary Hogan, to stay in the yard.
