Unauthorized Lands a Blow in Listowel The Aidan Melia-trained Unauthorized (6/1) was an impressive winner of the Croom House Stud Handicap for jockey Reese Holohan. Mint Man (11/2) set strong fractions throughout and they went a fierce gallop, and it was Unauthorized who was asked for his effort just before the furlong pole. He breezed clear to win by 2 1/4 lengths to record his second success on the track. Speaking after the race, jockey Reese Holohan said: "He was forward when he won at Leopardstown and we were going off the same plan again today, but they were out quick and went on a nice gallop, so I just felt comfortable where I was. "He picked up lovely and went around them. I can see plenty of improvement to come out of him. I have the Leaving Cert on Wednesday, I’ll get that out of the way and kick on as well as I can then.
