Johnny Murtagh is looking forward to getting Ursa Major back in action at the Curragh on Sunday in the TRM Silver Stakes.

The five-year-old has not been seen since finishing fourth in the 2012 St Leger, when Encke held off the Triple Crown-seeking Camelot.

Ursa Major was trained by Thomas Carmody at the time and lost nothing in defeat having previously won the Irish St Leger Trial.

He did not race at two, however, and also missed the whole of last season so Murtagh is just looking forward to getting him back on track.

"Ursa Major worked this morning and went well," said Murtagh,

"He's coming back from an injury and is just ready to start off.

"Obviously I'm looking forward to seeing how he gets on."
