Val Lamb Passes Away Val Lamb, the former editor of the Irish Field Newspaper passed away this morning following a long illness. Lamb, began his career with the Financial Times in London before joining the Irish Times in 1965. He became editor of the Irish Field in 1970 and held that position until the publication was sold by the Irish Times to the Farmers Journal in 2003. Val was in his 76th year. Funeral Arrangements: Monday 27th April at 2pm in Mt. Jerome Crematorium (Victoria Chapel). May he rest in peace.
