Valixir Heading East

Valixir is set to try and redeem his reputation in next month's Audemars Piguet Queen Elizabeth ll Cup at Sha Tin in Hong Kong.

The five-year-old, who was purchased by Godolphin over the winter, won both the Prix d'Ispahan and Queen Anne Stakes last season but has disappointed on both his starts for new connections.

However, trainer Saeed bin Suroor is now considering a trip to the Far East with the Trempolino horse according to www.godolphin.com.

If Valixir does head for the April 23, he could clash with top mare Ouija Board.
