Pat Foley hopes that Verdant Place can bid for his hat-trick at Fairyhouse over Easter.

The Walk In The Park gelding has won his last two outings at Punchestown for the in-form Bagenalstown handler.

Foley has earmarked the €50,000 INH Stallion Owners EBF Novice Handicap Hurdle for the JP McManus-owned five-year-old.

“He came out of it very well and I'm delighted with the horse, he's just improving all the time,” Foley told Racing TV.

“He might look like a big strong horse but he's actually not, he's a big baby.

“He'll be happier on drier ground and he's a lovely horse to look forward to.

“I haven't talked to Frank (Berry) yet but there is a race in Fairyhouse that I think would suit so I would love to go there if that works out. There is a three-mile handicap there.”
