Vic On The Mend Martin Pipe has delivered an upbeat bulletin about Paddy Power Gold Cup winner Our Vic, who disappointed at Cheltenham last weekend. The seven-year-old was pulled up when hurting himself in the Robin Cook Memorial Gold Cup during what was a barren spell for the perennial champion trainer. But Pipe returned to the winner´s enclosure at Exeter for the first time in 47 runners and delivered better news of the gelding. 'He pulled some ligaments landing over one of early fences, but Mary Bromiley has been treating him and hopefully he´ll be back before too long,' he said.(C) PA Sport
