Vroum revs up for Thurles test Vroum Vroum Mag will aim to continue her ascent through the ranks in the Coolmore NH Sires EBF Mares Novice Chase at Thurles on Thursday. The French import bolted up on her debut for champion trainer Willie Mullins at Wexford in November and had little trouble following up in Grade Three company at Cork a few weeks later. She steps up to Grade Two level for her latest assignment and Mullins is hopeful she can prove up to the task. He said: "She's done everything right so far and we're very pleased with her. "She lacks a bit of experience compared to one or two others in the race, but she has plenty of ability. "It's a nice prize to aim for with her." Vroum Vroum Mag is the star turn in an eight-runner field, with Jarlath Fahey's admirable mare Jennies Jewel and Noel Meade's runaway Down Royal winner Down Ace among her rivals.
