Wachman Looks To Coronation Irish trainer David Wachman could run both Luas Line and Damson in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot at York next month. The pair finished third and ninth respectively in the Boylesports Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh on Sunday and they could be back in action in the Group One contest on June 17. Luas Line was beaten just a short head and half a length in the Classic, while Damson ran well for a long way on what was a delayed seasonal reappearance. 'There is a possibility that both of them may line up for the Coronation,' Wachman said on Monday. 'Damson and Luas Line are both fine this morning. I was happy with the two fillies. 'I´ve no doubt that Damson stays the mile. She had a desperate preparation so I was happy with her. It was a good performance.' Wachman has yet to decide on whether or not to run Fracas in the Vodafone Derby. The Cashel-based handler hopes to walk the track at Epsom before committing his colt, who has won both his trials at Sandown and Leopardstown this spring, to the blue riband. 'The Derby is definitely in the mix of things,' he continued. 'He´s OK and we´ll see what happens closer to the time. He seems in good shape and he´s still a possible for Epsom. 'I´ll walk the track one day this week if I get chance.' Fracas is a top-priced 16-1 for the premier Classic. ? PA Sport
