Walsh sets comeback target Ruby Walsh hopes to return to the saddle in 12 weeks - in plenty of time for the 2011 Cheltenham Festival. Walsh suffered a double-fracture to his right leg after his fall from Corrick Bridge at Down Royal on Saturday. He underwent surgery at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Sunday, following breaks to his right tibia and fibula. "The operation all went well yesterday and I'll be back home tomorrow," Walsh told racinguk.com. "I reckon I'm looking at 12 weeks out. I heard one newspaper said I could be out for six months - but I haven't broken my neck! "These things happen and you can't all be doom and gloom about it, and at least I'll get a chance to spend some time with my family." Twelve weeks on the sidelines would see Walsh back in action around the start of February - over a month ahead of the National Hunt Festival at Cheltenham. Walsh had partnered his probable Cheltenham Gold Cup mount Kauto Star to a winning seasonal debut earlier on Saturday's Down Royal card.
