Pretty Mischievous held on to beat Gambling Girl by a neck in the Grade 1 Kentucky Oaks in Churchill Downs.

Irish native Brendan Walsh saddled the winner for Godolphin.

The winner was almost three lengths clear approaching the final furlong, but tired late on as Gambling Girl stayed on over the nine-furlong trip.

Pretty Mischievous went off at 104/10 under jockey Tyler Gaffalione.

Wet Paint, the 9/5 favourite, finished out of the placings in fourth.
