Watering at Leopardstown Dismays Holland

Darryll Holland, rider of Falbrav in tomorrow´s Champion Stakes at Leopardstown has expressed his dismay at the track´s watering policy.

Conditions at the course are now described as good. Holland asked the question in an interview with the Racing Post ´The ground at Leopardstown was naturally fast, so how can it be good now?´. Falbrav has shown his best form on a quick surface.

Claims by the English jockey that the ground was watered with one horse in mind, namely High Chaparral, have been refuted by racecourse manager, Tom Burke. Safe ground is the priority according to Burke.
