Waterlogged Curragh to inspect

There will be an inspection at the Curragh at 7.30am tomorrow morning ahead of their Irish 2,000 Guineas card.

After 34mm of rain in last 24 hours the ground is heavy on the straight course and soft to heavy on the round.

Parts of the track are waterlogged around the 6f and 4f markers in the straight.

Further rain is forecast today, approximately 5mm according to Met Éireann, and it is set to be unsettled tomorrow with showers.
