Weather forecast causes inspection at Roscommon Roscommon is currently raceable but faces an inspection tomorrow morning ahead of racing that evening. Lorcan Wyer, IHRB Clerk of the Course, said: "The ground at Roscommon is now heavy, soft in places ahead of racing on Monday. There was a further 3.5mm of rain overnight bringing the total to almost 19mm of rain at the track since entries closed on Wednesday. "Having spoken with Met Eireann this morning, the forecast remains for widespread and heavy rain in the area tonight and, therefore, we will have a 7.30am inspection tomorrow morning to determine if racing can go ahead. The track is currently raceable." The action on the Flat is due to commence at 4.30pm.
