Weegeebear picked up another claimer in Gowran Park to go with the one he landed in Dundalk.

He won on the Polytrack for Cormac Farrell in March and raced for Ado McGuinness today.

Again, he was tardy from the gates but rolled home well and got the measure of Live Like A Boss by half a length at 7/1. The runner-up went off at 6/1 and was almost three lengths in front of 7/1 shot Voice Of Northeast

Caffrey said: “He actually jumped slow and I went to plan B straightaway, down the rail.

“I was able to scoot up their inside turning the bend and got a really nice posi. He travelled into the straight really well and quickened up and did what he had to do. He’s hit the line strong.”

He had been slowly away at Bellewstown last time and he added: “When you jump slow around Bellewstown it’s hard to get into it, we struggled all the way really. I’m glad he’s gone and done it today.”
