Una Corcoran’s newcomer Caman Hill (morning 40s, returned 12/1) landed a gamble to impressively win Ballinrobe’s concluding McHale Orbital INH Bumper today, as the family-homebred provided the trainer with a second success.

Ridden by Pa King, Caman Hill indeed took today’s orbital route behind the leaders, with the four-year-old quickening clear despite racing greenly, to score by nine lengths from Moments Away

Cashel-based Corcoran, who took over the license following the passing of father Timothy 'Toppy' Corcoran in 2018, had sent out Toppy's Boy to score at Kilbeggan in 2023 and today King commented “he’s a lovely horse, I’ve sat on him a couple of times and you’ve love everything he does.

“He’s a brilliant horse over a fence too but we just didn’t get there in time for a point-to-point. We expected a big run today but to go out and do what he did, is great. He’s a gorgeous horse.”
