Dromore Glory returned from a seven-month absence to record a first victory in the 1m4f handicap.

Owned by Thomas Lynam, the six-year-old was well supported from 8/1 into 4/1 just before the off and tracked the leaders before hitting the front over a furlong out.

Driven clear by Rory Cleary, the winner scored by a length and three quarters from Jawhary

Trainer Paul Flynn commented: "He ran well fresh here last year and, unfortunately, I beat him with one of my own horses!

"It is great that he won and Tom bred him. It is the first time he hasn't come with all the losers he has had. I just hope he can back it up now.

"He's a big, strong horse. We had a few problems with health there for a while. We just gave him a good break."
