Wetherby and Sedgefield abandoned The first two fixtures to fall foul of the weather for St. Stephen's day are Wetherby and Sedgefield. Four inches of snow fell overnight at Wetherby and officials were forced to abandon Saturday's fixture. There will be a further inspection of the course at 9am on Saturday morning to see if Sunday's meeting at the track can go ahead. Sedgefield were also forced to abandon their Saturday meeting today as the course remains frozen.
