Wetherby off, Kempton inspect again

This afternoon's meeting at Wetherby has been abandoned due to frost while Kempton will hold a second inspection at 11am ahead of this afternoon's meeting.

Kempton's clerk of the course Brian Clifford checked conditions at 8am but he is planning to look again as that inspection proved inconclusive.

Clifford said: "We were down to 0C by 7pm last night and it got down to -4C between 3am and 4.30am.

"We've had a look and I just feel it's inconclusive so we will look again at 10am.

"It's just a little bit crispy in places," he told Channel 4's Morning Line.
