Wexford ground dries out Clerk of the Course Val O'Connell reports the ground at Wexford to have dried up in the past 24 hours, ahead of its first meeting of the year on Sunday. O'Connell reports “the ground at the moment is heavy - we have had a dry night overnight and we are dry and bright this morning. “There was surface water on parts of the track yesterday but that has all cleared up and soaked away. We are perfectly raceable and there is a dry forecast, so we are looking forward to a good meeting at the start of our season on Sunday.”
