Whip Ban for O'Shea The Stewards interviewed Niki O Shea, rider of Donttellmonther, concerning his use of the whip in the later stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Niki O Shea had used his whip with both excessive force and frequency. The rider was suspended for one day for the former offence and severely cautioned for the latter.
