WILLIAMSON RESTS AFTER FALL

Norman Williamson was forced to give up his rides at Plumpton today following a heavy fall at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The Irishman, who parted company with Wild Arms two out in the 24-runner Pierse Hurdle, said: 'I went down at the second last and got kicked - it`s not the race to go down in.

'I`m pretty stiff today and I`ve got bad bruising to my right leg. I`ll be going to see Rabbit Slattery later for some physio.

'I`m not riding tomorrow but I`m hoping to be back by the weekend.'
